Story: Plant oils are liquid treasures that contain an extremely large number of valuable vital substances and nutrients, especially unsaturated fatty acids. In our body they are an integral part of our cell walls and nerve sheaths. So consuming them is essential for our health. Cold-pressed oils from sesame, olives, rapeseed and linseed from the first pressing have the highest proportion of unsaturated fatty acids. The labels say “extra nativ”. Purchase only oils which are filled in dark bottles, otherwise the light vanishes most of the vitamins and bioactive substances
Properties: nourishing, oily, greasy, cooling-warming, heavy. They are a little difficult to digest, but less so than animal fats
Effect: they increase Kapha and decrease Vata. Oils with warming properties like sesame oil increase Pitta, cooling oils like olive oil, rapeseed or line oil is neutral.
Extra tip: Because of the high vitamin losses during heating, it makes sense to add oil to your meal at the end. The oil can also be taken neat, 2-3 tablespoons daily. Sesame oil van be heated up, olive oil only little
ARGAN OIL
Story: this „liquid gold“ is originated in Morocco. It is nourishing nerves, the brain and the sensory organs as well as the hair and skin
Properties: nourishing, oily, greasy, cooling, heavy and somewhat difficult to digest
Ingredients: lots of vitamin E, provitamin A and lots of antioxidants
Effects: nourishes nerves, brain, skin and hair and the immune system. Anti-cancer-effect
Use: 2-3 tablespoons daily on the salad or on its own – but never heat!
OLIVE OIL
Story: this oil is the essence of Europe’s south. It is full of good vital substances. There are different qualities corning acid. The best oils have less then 0,3 percent acid and are mostly found in Crete/Greek. The oil of ripe olives from the first pressing has more vital substances, is more „alkaline“ which has a stronger deacidifying effect
Properties: nourishing, oily, greasy, cooling, heavy and somewhat difficult to digest
Ingredients: potassium, magnesium, phosphates as well as B vitamins, vitamin C and iron
Effects: nourishes the nerves and the brain, the eyes, skin and hair, the heart muscle and the blood vessels. It also has an anti-cancer and anti-acidic
Use: 2-3 tablespoons daily on salad or vegetables or pure. Heat the olive oil only little
SESAME OIL
An easily digestible oil that has the highest proportion of unsaturated fatty acids of all known edible oils
Properties: nourishing, oily, greasy, warming, slightly easier to digest
Ingredients: contains a lot of vitamins A and E, plus minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and unsaturated fatty acids.
Effects: nourishes the nerves and brain, eyes, skin and hair. It’s digestive too.
Use: the native, cold-pressed and gently heated sesame oil is used for cooking and frying, but is also good for salads. Smoked sesame oil can be used in small quantities for seasoning.

Extratipp: Wegen der hohen Vitaminverluste während des Erhitzens macht es Sinn, die Hälfte des Öls erst zum Schluss ins warme Essen zu geben und nicht alles mit zu kochen. Das Öl kann auch pur eingenommen werden, täglich 2-3 Esslöffel
ARGAN ÖL
Story: das beste Öl stammt aus Marokko. Es gilt als Nervennahrung pur

Story: das flüssige Gold aus dem Süden Europas ist voller guter Vitalstoffe. Es gibt unterschiedliche Qualitäten. Das Öl ausgereifter Oliven aus der Erstpressung besitzt mehr Vitalstoffe, ist „basischer“ und hat eine stärker entsäuernde Wirkung

Wirkung: nährt Nerven und Gehirn, die Augen, Haut und Haare, den Herzmuskel und die Blutgefäße. Es wirkt auch krebshemmend
Anwendung: 2-3 Esslöffel täglich zu Salat oder Gemüse oder pur. Olivenöl nur kurz erhitzen
SESAMÖL
Story: Ein leicht verdauliches Öl, das von allen bekannten Speiseölen den höchsten Anteil an ungesättigten Fettsäuren hat
Eigenschaften: nährend, ölig, fettend, erwärmend, etwas leichter verdaulich
Inhaltsstoffe: enthält viel Vitamin A und E, zusätzlich Mineralien wie Calcium, Kalium, Magnesium, Phosphor, Eisen und ungesättigte Fettsäuren.
Wirkung: nährt Nerven und Gehirn, die Augen, Haut und Haare. Verdauungsfördernd.
Anwendung: Das native, kaltgepresste und schonend erhitzte Sesamöl wird zum Kochen und Braten verwendet, eignet sich aber auch als Salatöl. Geräuchertes Sesamöl kann in geringen Mengen zum Würzen verwendet werden
