According to Vedic mythology, Shiva is part of the cosmic trinity also called Trimurti. Together with the divine energies of Brahma and Vishnu, he creates and sustains the universe. Shiva repräsentiert auch die Leichtigkeit des Lebens und seiner Herausforderungen durch seinen kosmischen Tanz, mit dem er der Zerstörung und der Erneuerung im Universum begegnet.
