The following food are naturally acidic or acidic. They have digestive properties but it is better to avoid them if you have a tendency to #hyperacidity or increased Pitta. You will find out about this with the #test on hyperacidity. Even if you are completely healthy, you should not eat too much sour because the acid in them irritates our body according to Ayurveda. One of the reasons for this is that many of the following food items here contain or trigger histamine production and thus promote acid formation and inflammation.
FOOD WITH SOUR PROPERTIES:
• tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, celery, leeks, spinach and swiss chard and mushrooms
• pineapple, kiwi, berries (except for blueberries), citrus fruits, rhubarb
• all wheat products, including couscous, bulgur and saitan
• all sourdough products

• tuna and seafruits
• fermented food like tofu or kimchi
• all dairy products like cheese, quark or yogurt

• coffee and tea, the black is more acidic than the green tea

• chilies, especially the red one

• ginger, pepper, garlic and cinnamon

• fast food like hamburger, pizza, currywurst, french fries
• all ready-made sauces especially tomato ketchup
• chips and flips
• roasted nuts and seeds especially peanuts or pistachios
• carbon dioxide in drinks like lemonade and Cola
• canned juices
Die folgenden Lebensmitte sind von Natur aus sauer oder säuernd. Sie sind verdauungsfördernd aber meide sie, wenn Du zu Übersäuerung neigst oder bereits übersäuert bist. Auch wenn Du ganz gesund bist, solltest Du von den folgenden Sachen nicht viel essen, denn diese Lebensmittel gelten im Ayurveda als irritierend für den Körper. Das liegt unter anderem daran, dass viele der Kandidaten hier vermehrt Histamine enthalten oder auslösen und damit Säurebildung und Entzündungen fördern.
